Polylactic acid, paint marker, stone. 37×28 cm
For this collaboration I asked my friend @loste_loste and he put a pair of hands on my hand, a flat paint on a solid sculpture. The paint appear correct because is anamorphic, we have to look at it using the cross as a scope cause the image has been distorted to look undistorted.
A metaphor of how politics and not only (social media, news, religion, advertising, etc) works, they distort reality to convince us that what is happening is right.
Everybody look at the world from a unique point of view, in some case, sometimes for some specific thing it overlaps with someone else point of view and that’s when we agree on something.
Usually a sculpture doesn’t have a specific point of view from where it has to be looked, but here we have it and we can all agree.
What is going on today in Palestine, in Ukraine and in dozens of other war conflicts that we don’t even know, can be seen from different perspectives and each of those is our personal opinion. The only thing we can all agree, is that lots of innocents are dying everyday for someone else opinion on something. And we can only pray for them.
That’s of course just my personal opinion.
