This series of acrylic paintings on canvas aims to introduce a radically innovative concept: replacing the traditional image with a prompt that can be used for its creation.
In the contemporary context, where providing a sequence of words to an artificial intelligence is sufficient to generate a visual representation, the value of images is called into question, while the prompt gains significant value. Reading a prompt thus becomes an experience comparable to contemplating a painting, triggering unique mental processes that are profoundly different from the mere observation of a visual product.
Based on this premise, prompts are not only tools for creation but become objects of contemplation themselves. The act of reading and interpreting a prompt stimulates a mental and imaginative interaction that goes beyond mere visual perception. This process invites the viewer to reflect on the nature of art, its production, and the intrinsic value of words as vehicles of creativity and meaning.
This series contains multiple layers of meaning. First, the prompts can be entered into an image generator, producing different outcomes each time. This highlights the variability and fluidity of artistic creation in the contemporary technological context. Each result, though originating from the same sequence of words, is unique, emphasizing the infinite possibilities for interpretation and variation.
Secondly, each painting contains a hidden message, revealed only by selected letters treated with fluorescent paint, visible exclusively in the dark. This layer adds a dimension of mystery and interactivity, inviting the viewer to a deeper and more personal discovery of the work.
