Poesie Senza Adsl

“Poesie Senza ADSL” is a poetry collection published in 2007 as a collaborative project born from a blog, aimed at exploring the relationship between human emotions and technology. Initially conceived as an online shared space for thoughts and reflections, the project evolved into a creative investigation of how technological advancements shape emotions and interpersonal connections.

Through poetry and photographic imagery, it delves into the condition of the “Homo Technologicus,” torn between timeless emotions (love, solitude, anger) and modern communication tools (internet, the infosphere, digital technologies). The photos, seemingly disconnected from the poems, tell surreal and evocative stories about societal changes driven by technology, while also subtly critiquing its environmental and social impact.

After its publication, the project expanded into live poetry readings and audiovisual performances held in various cities, blending words and multimedia to create immersive experiences. Some of the accompanying photographs, featured in the collection, were printed in large format and exhibited on multiple occasions, further enriching the dialogue between poetry and visual art.

With a mix of irony and depth, this 2007 work highlights how, despite changing tools and contexts, humanity continues to seek genuine connections.
